Beautiful beach, but going later in the afternoon was not a great experience because of the horseflies.

The warmest water in the Nova Scotia area. We saw seals and were there just in time before the high tide. Beautiful place to come in the late afternoon.

Be sure to go on a day when there is a bit of a wind as the beach is bordered by a marsh and the smell can be a bit much. A breeze would also keep the bugs away.

Beautiful beach! Has several covered picnic area and outhouses. A bit of a walk from parking lot to beach but once you're there, well worth it.

Warm water end of August, no jelly fish, clear water (not mixed up with sand), takes a while to get deep but eventually it does so you can still swim

The water is lovely and warm and the beach is very sandy.

Beach itself is pretty nice, a bit of a hike in from the parking lot so if you are bringing a heavy cooler then likely a good idea to have some kind of weagon. The highlight was the water though, which was very warm. Likely the warmest sea water beach in Nova Scotia I have ever swam in. Also nice was there were lots of outhouses.
